UKIE: UKIE is a Profesional body based in the UK, UKIE offers support and guidance to both big and small game companies. UKIE aims to help out all game companies in the UK with things like IP management, Campaigns and other such problems. UKIE will also aid companies in finance advice. They give good publicity to those companies that make up its members.
IGDA: International Game Development Association is a Professional body that is the largest non profit membership organasitation that helps anyone create video games. IGDA will help bring people together and to hone their craft, IGDA gopes to epand to help more people and to raise awareness of issues plaguing the current gaming industry.
Women in Games: Women in Games aims to support and promote female job roles in the gaming industry, they also aim to encourage females into pursuing roles that are mostly dominated by men. This organisation aims to abolish the stereotype of the game industry being only for males. This organisation promotes female role models in the games industry and encourages other to follow in their footsteps.
BAFTA: British Association of Film and Television Arts is a independent charity that supports/promotes the art form of moving images including TV, Films and Games. BAFTA holds various events like workshops to help connect audiences of all ages, BAFTA relies on income from memberships, foundation, donations and more to keep on going. BAFTA also connects people from places other than the UK such as Los Angeles and New York.
MEF: Mobile Entertainment Forum is a global trade association that helps people promote and monetize their products for the mobile platform. The goal of MEF is to accelerate the growth of the mobile ecosystem. MEF also oopens the door for cross country connections, this would help with collaborations with people is other countries. MEF has other bases in various countries such as Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, Latin and North America.
